At Hair & Compounds, we offer the finest pre-bonded hair extensions. The Poly hair extensions are of the highest grade, long-lasting hair with natural textures formed into fast and easy to apply polymer bonds.

The hair is Indian cuticle European grade manufactured by us from raw hair to finished hair extensions with strict control over quality -especially tangle testing, moisture content and finished color. We hand pick the best raw Indian Remy cuticle hair to match the texture and softness of Caucasian hair and carefully process into 33 different colors The Premium hair will beat out any other hair quality in the market except for authentic Russian virgin hair. Our hair quality is the reason our hair extensions are featured in many major motion pictures.

Poly hair extensions with a standard texture usually have a slight wave or body wave. We do not perm or straighten the hair - each batch will vary as we leave the hair in its natural body. Poly hair extensions with a curly texture usually have a tight wave or loose curly. Our curly hair is 100% natural, absolutely no chemicals, or steam permanents applied. The curl will not relax for the life of the hair extensions.

Layered Poly Hair Extensions

Single drawn hair contains layers of different lengths within a bundle creating a natural look to the extensions. The hair extensions will easily blend in with your client's hair looking like natural growth while adding fullness and length. Layered hair extensions will save the stylist time and effort with cutting and shaping the final look. The Layered hair is the same quality as our Premium hair. The difference is the preparation of the hair. Layered hair extensions come in standard texture only, which is a natural slight wave to body wave.

Our hair has the best quality in the industry and it is scientifically proven with quality checks in our lab. Layered hair extensions are the cheapest buy for the quality. Consider it the best return for you and your client's money. With our variety of hair extensions and different tiers of quality you have choices for ordering extensions that start at $55 per bundle up to $180 per bundle.

Russian Poly Extensions

100% Russian virgin, silky hair hand selected through our office in Ukraine. This quality of hair is traditionally kept for the film productions and now available commercially. The best hair that money can buy and this is why the film industry hair dressers choose our hair extensions. Each bundle will be shipped with a Certificate of Authentication verifying its origin and quality.

Available in dark blond, light brown and medium brown colors these hair extensions are 100% virgin with naturally dark roots and highlights and low lights that blend easily into the client's hair. The Russian hair has a naturally straight or slight wave texture. The high blond is the only color we have lifted from a dark blond into a level 12 light blond. The high blond contains no dye deposits and can be easily toned or streaked. Please note that availability of Russian hair is very limited.

 

THE BOND

 

Our polymer adhesive is a polyamide hot melt that has recently been upgraded to a significantly stronger clear colored bond and is the longest lasting adhesive we have custom formulated. This new adhesive was created and tested by volunteer stylists on 55 heads and has proven to withstand a variety of salon treatments (perms, bleaching, color treatments, blow outs, curling and straightening irons*). Our new bond has also tested to last through normal and aggressive wear and tear and holds for an average of four months or longer!

Our tips are even smaller with the new bond as less adhesive is needed for holding power. The adhesive has a thicker viscosity for faster and easier molding. We offer two different density options.

• 1 bundle of size small density = 50 hot melt bonded hair strands
• 1 bundle of size large density = 25 hot melt bonded hair strands

For no cost difference, order either small density for a finer and thinner hair extension strand or large density for a regular sized hair extension strand. The average full head of hair extensions requires approximately 150 strands.

90 Day Guarantee

We are so confident of the strength of our new bond that we offer a 90 day holding time guarantee for our new poly bond. We will replace any strands that have fallen out before the 90 days has expired.

Terms:

1. The 90 days count begins upon receipt of goods at your shipping destination.
2. If any strands should slip out prior to the 90 day expiration please ship the strands back to us with a copy of the invoice and we will replace with exactly the same number of strands sent to us in the same color, length and density.
3. This guarantee applies to the new clear bond Poly hair extensions only.
4. The guarantee applies only if the strands have slipped out after application and before the 90 days expiration date. Upon receipt of any returned strands they will be inspected under the microscope for verification that the lost strands slipped out from the attachment point and were not forcibly removed (broken, crushed, and dissolved by any solvents or oils).
5. The guarantee is applicable once per client and/or invoice.

*Please note that not all brands of chemical treatments or mechanical devices were tested. Each brand and type may have differing effects upon the polymer bond. Swatch testing is highly recommended as we cannot guarantee the outcome.

 

THE QUALITY

 

Our company is a human hair extension processing unit that manufactures human hair in Los Angeles and India. In Los Angeles we produce custom European bulk hair and hand-tied hair extensions. In India, we produce high quality Indian Remy hair extensions, pre-tipped, and hand tied wefts.

Sorting out the good from the bad
The first step in achieve high quality hair is the selection process we conduct in Chennai, India. Our staff in India hand selects the best quality Indian (Remy) cuticle hair. Suppliers bring the raw hair to our factory, Different Hair Pvt. Ltd., and each bundle is inspected before it is purchased. Any hair that does not meet our quality standards (tangled, split ends, lice, course/dry) is eliminated. This is raw hair that other Western companies cannot select because we are the first ones to put our hands on the best hair collected.

Color Theory
We have a superior understanding of color theory. As true hair processors we color match unlimited amounts of customer hair samples for standard and custom-made orders. We spent 3 years teaching these techniques to our staff in India so they could effectively produce consistent and lustrous colors. The quality of our dyed hair is better than any other brand in the market. The color has more depth and tones and the fastness is higher.

We built our Professional color ring based on years of experience serving the hair extension field around the world as well as our film industry clients. In addition to the selected colors we included bleach colors for the stylist that likes to create their own colors.

Technical Tangle Testing
At every stage in production and always before any order leaves our warehouse we conduct exhaustive tangle tests with every single bundle of hair. We developed a special cleaner that we apply to the hair to sort out and find any hair strands that have either been reversed from root to tip or are over dry and will tangle. We apply detailed hand work rather than mass production assembly which means nothing is overlooked.

Natural Textures
All of our hair is natural, including the curly hair. From slight wave to lose curls we do not apply any chemical or steam perms to add body. From collecting the hair all throughout production the hair textures are kept separate and sold in its natural form.

Applied Science
Our research lab helped us develop our processing methods from bleaching and dyeing to tangle testing and the final treatment. We exported our knowledge and chemicals to India to ensure the highest quality processing and finishing.

Quality Control
In addition to quality control checks at every station and stage of production we conduct random lab tests to verify quality of hair before it is shipped to the customer.
