Hair Extensions for the Deceased

We get strange requests on occasion. Our hair has been purchased and made into all kinds of characters or prepped for action scenes for special effects. There was the request for viking wigs for Beowulf that would be worn by the actors, but only so they could create the animation. And there was the wig that had to look like a guy was scalped, run over, and then caught on fire. Or how about the pounds and pounds of blond hair dyed into pink and blue shades for the Shrek musical?

You would think having worked with the entertainment industry would prepare us for anything. A couple of days ago we got a call from a death care and cremation service stating they were interested in our hair extensions and Ionix hair care line for “deceased hair”.
