We received some questions regarding this post. Here are the replies:

1. Are we referring to the halo made with wefted hair extensions? Yes! And using clear beading thread that is thin and durable is best for creating a halo weft piece.

2. What is our recommendation on achieving Ombre hair? For those unfamiliar with this style, it is basically a dark root to a light tip in a gradient process. You can purchase ready made hair extensions and lighten the ends using a lighter color and 20-30 volume or a very slow bleach cream that will carefully remove color. The best way to achieve the gradient is to first wet the hair, dip the ends and let it seep upwards. Or you can purchase the lighter hair color and color the roots darker. Again wet the hair first so it flows downwards gradually. Both methods take some practice and should be tested first.

3. Method for adding extensions to short hair? You have the choice of Layered hair extensions in our Cylinder hair extensions (micro ring), Poly hair extensions (fusion) and our Ready weft hair extensions. For the individual hair strands - it is always best to work with the small tip when attaching to fine and/or short hair.

I believe this particular brand's manufacturer has addressed that issue last year. In any case, there are many brands that do the same thing. We tested another one as named above. Another stylist recommended the Simply Smooth brand.
