Blending Mid-Range Colors of Hair Extensions
Hair extensions for light brown and dark blonds. Once again we are suggesting subtle blends and color mixes when ordering from our hair extension lines. This time we will concentrate on the mid-range colors, levels 5 through 7. Whether a stylists intends to install Cylinder hair extensions (micro ring hair extensions) or Poly hair extensions (fusion hair extensions) or even our Ready weft hair extensions, there are many colors to choose from. Here are some ideas on giving a touch of depth for a client who does not want bold streaks and highlights for their light brown to dark blond hair.
Brown shade Hair Extensions
1. Light Brown hair extensions
For a base color of 5 Ash (light neutral brown) add 1 small tip bundle of 4 Ash (mid neutral brown) that will add shadows without overwhelming a neutral brown.
For a base color of 5 Natural (light natural brown) add 1 small tip bundle of 6 Ash (lightest ash brown) to slightly tone down the reds while adding depth.
Or mix equally the 5 Natural and 4 Natural (mid natural brown) for an amazingly rich blend of natural browns that will not look the least bit boring.
2. Lightest Brown hair extensions
For a base color of 6 Natural (lightest natural brown) add 1 small tip bundle of 5 Natural, or for more a little more drama try 4 Bleach.
For a base color of 6 Ash add 1 small tip bundle of 5 Ash to maintain neutral browns, or for more warmth add 5 Natural.
Or mix equally the 6 Natural and 5 Ash as this will create a beautiful sun-streaked finish. This combination looks like most of the Russian virgin hair that we see.
Dark blond shade hair Extensions
3. Dark Blond hair extensions
For a base color of 7 Natural (Dark natural blond) add 1 small tip bundle of 7 Ash to compliment and give the appearance of darker root and nape growth.
Or for a warmer touch use 6 Natural for the low light.
Add a touch o f gold with 1 bundle of 8 Bleach to create a hint of strawberry blond.
For a base color of 7 Ash (Dark neutral blond) add 1 small tip bundle of 6 Ash for the most natural looking dark tone.
Or for a bit of light add 1 bundle of 7 Natural.
For a base color of 7 Gold (Dark golden blond) add 1 small tip bundle of 8 Ash (Mid neutral blond) to reduce the brassy effects under certain lighting.
If a subtle light is preferred add 1 small tip bundle of 8 Natural (Mid natural blond).
Try mixing equally the 7 Gold and the 8 Bleach for a gorgeous golden blond.
